Sunday, Jan 25th we were able to bring Grant home. Our first couple nights home were pretty sleepless, but finally by the third day and night we were starting to figure our little guy out (and get a bit more sleep). Grant has been a great eater and even gained a few ounces at his first Dr's appointment. His bilirubin was a little high but we kept an eye on it and it came back down without the need for lights.
Grandma Diane was able to come back Wednesday to help out since Nick went back to work Thursday. She was definatley a big help! Not to mention Grant loved all the time he got with her. Grandma Diane even helped us with Grant's first bath at home.
Grant had a pretty busy first week meeting his grandparents, most of his aunts and uncles, some cousins (who call him "Baby Gant") and lots of our good friends. We think he is a pretty lucky little boy to have all these wonderful people in his life.
